SMS Consent & Opt-In Policy
Last updated July 26, 2026
About this page
This page documents how people give consent to receive text messages from @You. It is publicly accessible and requires no login. The live opt-in form is also public and can be reviewed directly at atyou.me/onboarding.
Program description
@You is a personal relationship assistant that works entirely over text message. After a person signs up with their own mobile number and checks the consent box, @You sends them reminders about the people they choose to keep close, and replies when they text in a note or question. Messages are sent only to the account holder's own phone number.
How people opt in
There is one opt-in method: a web form on our website. A person enters their own mobile phone number and must actively check an unchecked consent box before they can submit. No number is ever added by us, by import, or by a third party, and we never message anyone who has not completed this form with their own number.
The opt-in form
Below is the consent step exactly as it appears during signup. The consent box is never pre-selected, and the submit button stays disabled until the person checks it.
@You text message signup
- Frequency:
- A few messages per week based on your reminders. At most 2 account notices/month after cancellation.
- Rates:
- Msg & data rates may apply.
- Help & Stop:
- Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel.
By providing your phone number and checking the box above, you agree to receive text messages from @You. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
How people opt out
Replying STOP to any message immediately ends all texts from @You. Replying HELP returns support information. Both keywords work at any time, and no further messages are sent after a STOP request.
Proof of consent we retain
When someone opts in, we store the date and time of their consent, the page where it was given, and the verbatim disclosure language they agreed to. We also verify ownership of the number with a one-time passcode before any reminders are sent.
