Our promise
@You holds some of the most personal information there is: who you love and what is happening in their lives. We collect only what the service needs, we never sell it, and we never use your relationships to advertise to you.
What we collect
- Your phone number — your account identifier and where reminders are sent.
- People you add — names, optional phone numbers, and how you know them.
- Notes and reminders — what you text @You to remember, and when you want to be nudged.
- Messages — texts you send @You and the replies we send back.
- Consent records — when you agreed to receive messages, and the language you agreed to.
- Billing details — subscription status from Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
To run the service: verifying your number, understanding your texts, sending your reminders, and managing your subscription. We use an AI model provider to interpret your messages and compose replies. Your information is not used to train third-party models.
Who we share it with
Only the vendors required to operate @You: Supabase (database and authentication), Twilio (text message delivery), Vercel (hosting and AI model routing), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (bot detection). Each receives only what it needs. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Bot detection
Our sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible security check that protects the service from automated abuse. Turnstile runs in the background and does not track you across the web. Its use is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy.
The people on your list
We contact only you. The people you add never receive messages from @You and are never told they are on your list. Their details exist to help you remember and reach out yourself.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and every database query is scoped to your account so no one else can read your records. We keep your information while your account is open. Deleting your account removes your profile, people, notes, and reminders, though we may retain limited billing and consent records where the law requires it.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any message to end texts immediately, or HELP for assistance. You can view and delete the people you have added at any time, and you can request a copy or deletion of your information by contacting us.
Children
@You is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
